April 2024

Halcyon Power Ltd in partnership with Halcyon Green Hydrogen opens New Zealand’s first commercial fast refueller at the Coregas site in South Auckland. The H2H refueler is designed to refill a truck or bus at 350bar in around 15- 20 minutes.

September 2023

Halcyon Power Ltd refills a Toyota 1.8 tonne FCEV forklift being trialled by dairy company Miraka in its nearby warehouse. The trials form part of the Mokai Green Hydrogen Hub project being undertaken by Tuaropaki Trust, Miraka and Central Transport Limited. The AB Equipment supplied forklift holds 1.3kg of hydrogen.

September 2023

Halcyon Power Ltd wins the Industry Impact Award at the H2 2 Zero Summit 2023. The category recognises a company making a significant commercial or technical contribution to the use of hydrogen in industrial applications, including recognising collaborative partnerships.

Halcyon parent company Tuaropaki Trust signs a letter of intent to work with dairy company Miraka and transport provider Central Transport Limited to collaborate on a hydrogen hub at Mokai.

Halcyon provides hydrogen for Toyota NZ to run its Fuel Cell generator at Fieldays 2023 at Mystery Creek in Hamilton.

April 2023

Halcyon provides hydrogen for a five-day trial of a hydrogen Fuel Cell generator being run in Auckland’s CBD by Team Emirates and Toyota NZ.

Representatives from HW Richardson Group visit Halcyon to discuss the company’s dual fuel programme in Southland and future projects involving hydrogen in the North Island.

A transporter collects two packs of cylinders filled with hydrogen from Halcyon Power for HW Richardson Group’s trial of dual fuel trucks in Southland.
